Francisco Domenech: Providing Government Affairs Services in Puerto Rico and the U.S.

Francisco Domenech has been an active voice in Puerto Rican politics for over a decade. He is a two-time graduate of the University of Puerto Rico where he first attained a B.A. in Political Science and then was the recipient of a legal education from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2003 when he obtained his Law Degree. He is qualified to argue cases in Puerto Rican courts as well as many U.S. Federal Courts, including the Supreme Court.

Francisco Domenech was the founding President of the Puerto Rico Young Deomocrats in 2003 and two years later was elected to the Young Democrats of America national board as Vice President. Between 2007 and 2010 he represented the YDA at the Democrat National Convention and co-founded the YDA Hispanic Caucus before ageing out of the organization.   Learn more about Francisco Domenech at Caribbean Business.

He has continued working in politics, including supporting Hillary Clinton in her 2008 and 2016 Presidential bids. Francisco Domenech co-chaired the Hillblazers in 2007 and was the Deputy State coordinator for Puerto Rico during her 2007 primary and serving as National co-Finance Chair for Ready for Hillary. He also served on the National Finance Committee as well as being the Campaign Manager for her Puerto Rican primary campaign that same year.

Also serving Puerto Rico directly he has served as Campaign Manager for fellow New Progressive Party member Jenniffer Gonzalez in her bid to become the first female Resident Commissioner of Puerto Rico in Washington, D.C.

From 2005 until 2009 he was appointed Director of the Office of Legislative Services of Puerto Rico, a government Office he streamlined and led through budget surpluses all four years of his tenure while simultaneously expanding the Legislative Library, increasing access for the handicapped and granting hands-on access to the Office for hundreds of interns.

Domenech is also a philanthropist in his personal and professional lives. He has personally supported numerous art foundations, museums, scholarships and charity organizations. He is also currently the Managing Partner of a law firm specializing in government affairs, POLITANK, which in addition to assisting with legal legislative matters is itself active in philanthropy.

    When knowledge base has been established and used in the right way, the result is better living for the people overall. Decisions on the way of resumes planet has really been useful to make considering what data there is available for them. So for cost impact, making sure that public opinions and data are used in the right way becomes important for everyone.
