The Life and Career of Adam Milstein

In the Jewish community, Adam Milstein is known as the founder of the Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation. Gila is his wife to whom he has been married for the last 30 years. Both Adam Milstein and Gila Milstein are immigrants in a way. Adam Milstein immigrated into the US in search of greener pastures. As for Gila Milstein, she moved into the State of Israel at a tender age of six also in search of greener pastures. The parents of Adam Milstein were also immigrants while his father had immigrated to Israel from Argentina. As for his mother, she moved to Israel from Mexico.

 

Adam and Gila Milstein met during their time in the Israel Defense Forces. During his time in the Israel Defense Forces, Adam Milstein was deployed to fight in a battle called the Yom Kippur War. Just after the military service was over, he joined the Technion College where he acquired his first degree. Education in business and economics has been crucial in his life. It gave him an insight of the real world to the extent of helping him establish his firm. Adam Milstein is the proud owner of a real estate firm known as the Hager Pacific Properties. He co-owns this firm with another investor known as David Hager. Adam met Hager when working as a broker in the real estate industry. The two formed a good understanding and are good friends beside business. In an interview, Adam Milstein acknowledged that David Hager is the smartest business man that he has ever met.

 

Adam had immigrated to the USA to study a master’s degree in economics and business. After graduation, he realized that employers didn’t value his knowledge and that’s how he ventured out on his own. Among his greatest wishes is to help the less privileged people in the society. It’s for this reason that he is part of many organizations that are geared towards these causes. These organizations include Hasbara Fellowships, StandWithUs, Israel on Campus Coalition and the Israel-American Council. These organizations have made him recognized as one of the most influential philanthropists in the world.
